Turns out Natalie has a nicely shaped profile, shown here about 1 week in age. It has changed quite a bit since birth.

Proud dad watching Natalie sleep. She sleeps quite a bit at this age. She is cranky when getting to sleep, but not otherwise to an unusual extent.

Sara gazing at her little daughter, which is easy to spend of lot of time doing, she makes all these fascinating little facial expressions.

Natalie shown in one of her favorite spots.

After week one she gained 4 oz, after week two she gained another 7 oz. This sounds like a lot but it is roughly the norm for all babies--the 50th percentile.

Natalie is developing much stronger neck and other muscles, she seems to be ahead of schedule for raising her head off the ground while laying face down (this is a one-month expected milestone).

She is beginning to react to sounds like talking or silly songs. But she is not overly sensitive--she slept right through pounding on nails a couple feet away!

Her ability to track objects with her eyes seems to be proceeding well, the cross-eyed look (at right) is typical for infants.

Sweetly sleeping, with pacifier which helps her calm down.

She is often a little wild at bedtime when she is tired.

She sleeps up to 5 or 6 hours at a time, but the cycles are shorter during the day.

Natalie at 2 weeks plus one day of age, after a morning feeding.

A nice family photo of us at Dave Enge's memorial service.
